SubmitHub vs Groover: which is worth it?
SubmitHub is worth it if you want cheap, fast answers from playlists and blogs. Groover costs about twice as much per contact but includes written feedback.
Neither one sells placements. You pay for a curator’s attention, and most will say no.
SubmitHub’s credits page lists two kinds. Standard credits are free, 2 every 4 hours, and curators can skip feedback on them. Premium credits start at $1 each and drop to $0.78 in bulk. On premium, a curator has 72 hours to listen for 60 seconds and then approve the song or write at least 20 words. They can instead listen for 180 seconds without writing anything. Miss that and the credit comes back.
Groover’s site charges 2 Grooviz per contact, with 1 Grooviz at €1 (about $1.07). Top curators cost 4 to 6. Its list goes past playlists to radio, media, labels, managers and sync people. Curators get 7 days to answer, or you get the Grooviz back, and Groover’s curator guide requires at least 15 words of feedback.
Start with SubmitHub’s free credits. Pay for Groover when you want notes from labels or radio people, or a reply from everyone you pay. Whichever you use, check any playlist that adds you, as our reposting playlists FAQ explains. Our free playlist submission guide covers the other free options.
