I uploaded the wrong song. Can I change tracks, titles or the ISRC after upload?

Titles, yes, with an edit request. The ISRC, no. A different song means deleting the release and uploading it again. Here’s how that works on DistroKid.

Titles. Open the release from your dashboard, click Edit Release, make the change and hit Submit Edit Request. DistroKid’s editing page says most services process it within a few days, but it can take 1 to 2 weeks to show everywhere. You can’t send a second edit while one is pending.

ISRC, track order, genre and language. That same page lists these as things you can’t edit. The only fix is to delete the release and re-upload it. Our ISRC guide explains which code each version should carry.

Wrong mix or master. Audio Swap replaces the file and keeps your stats, playlist placements and splits. It’s on the Ultimate plan only, and it’s for small fixes like click removal or an updated master. A new intro, added instruments or a remix gets turned down.

A completely different song. DistroKid’s wrong-song page says to delete the upload and re-upload with the right track.

One trap: don’t delete a live release just to fix a title. DistroKid warns that stores won’t accept a delete and re-upload with different metadata, so edit it while it’s still live. The same goes for a name change, covered in our guide to changing your artist name on DistroKid.
