Why did Fans Also Like disappear from my profile?

Spotify doesn’t say exactly why, but Fans Also Like is built from your fans’ listening habits, so a change in that data is the likely cause.

Spotify’s Fans Also Like page says the section is “determined by looking at your fans’ listening habits.” It also says you can’t edit what shows there. There’s no switch to bring it back.

What Spotify hasn’t published: a listener minimum, how often the section refreshes, or a list of reasons it drops off a profile. Treat any exact threshold you read online as a guess.

Spotify has changed how it works, too. A Spotify for Artists post from Apr 29, 2025 says updates mean more artists get the section, and that it now tracks more closely what your fans actually play.

Before you worry, look at your profile on desktop and on another phone with the app updated. If it shows there, it’s the device, not your profile.

Spotify’s own advice is to give it more data. Ask fans to save your songs and add them to playlists. Make artist playlists with clear titles that mix your music with similar artists. Our guide to how the Spotify algorithm works covers the other signals Spotify talks about. If a promo service sent you a burst of odd plays, our page on bots and fake streams explains why that muddies your listener data.
