What can you do with Spotify for Artists?

Claiming your profile lets you edit it, read your listener stats and pitch unreleased songs to Spotify’s editors, plus promo tools that open as you grow.

Spotify’s access page puts it as a way to “see audience stats, promote your music, and manage your profile.” You claim it through your distributor or with Spotify’s request form. In practice you get:

  • Your profile. Edit what listeners see on your page. A claimed profile also shows the Registered Artist label, which replaced the blue Verified check on Jan 28, 2026, per Spotify’s checkmark update. Our guide to getting verified on Spotify covers both badges.
  • Stats. Streams, listeners and audience data for your songs.
  • Pitching. One unreleased song at a time to Spotify’s editors, from Music, then Upcoming.
  • Canvas and Clips. Looping visuals and short videos on your tracks. See our Canvas guide.
  • Countdown Pages. Pre-save pages for albums and EPs, once you pass a listener minimum.
  • Campaign Kit. Marquee, Showcase and Discovery Mode. They cost money and need a set audience size. Our Campaign Kit guide has the numbers.
  • Team access. Invite a manager or bandmate. Spotify’s access levels page says Admin and Editor can edit the profile, pitch and run campaigns, Reader can only view, and only Admin can add payment methods.

Without access, your songs still go live, but you can’t touch the profile or see the numbers behind it.
